This year long programme is for young aspiring players who have engaged with Newcastle Elite Academy across our various training programmes demonstrating a high level of talent through excelling ability combined with a a high work ethic and willingness to learn and develop.
This unique programme provides the opportunity for young players to further refine their skills and continue their development in a positive learning environment at our top class facilities. They will be working within our unique structured and progressive training programme delivered by our UEFA qualified coaching team.
Looking ahead to next season (September 2018 till July 2019) we are looking to revamp and further grow our elite development centre programme and delighted to announce the launch of our community gk development centre membership scheme.
This scheme is a year long structured and progressive training programme is in addition to young players grassroots football, where the coaching team at NEA can utilise their experience of working in the professional game, expertise and understanding of long term player development alongside our NEA directors guidance to deliver a programme essential for any young player to further develop as a player on and off the pitch.
This programme will include short, medium and long term development goals across the year. All players will work through individual and group aims/objectives linked to age specific fundamental coaching topics across the FA’s Four corner model of “Long Term Player Development’ – Technically (tactically), Physically, Socially, Psychologically. This training programme will provide challenge to striving players to further continue their football journey and will be fundamental in working towards reaching their full potential.
The community gk development centre membership scheme is a package priced at £250.00 (reduced to £200 mid-season) which includes:
– 36 x sessions across the year running in line with school academic terms.
– 3 x £10.00 Vouchers to use against our holiday courses across the year.
– Entry into a prize draw for 2 NUFC match tickets every 6 weeks (running in line with school terms) 6 raffles in total.
– Entry into a prize raffle at Christmas, Easter and the at the end of our year long programme consisting of – 1 pair of signed boots, 1 pair of signed gloves and 1 signed football.
– End of year long programme presentation.
– Player reviews every 12 weeks.
To cancel the membership you must give NEA 2 months notice. If three sessions are called off across the year due to weather conditions these will not be refundable however any session after these three sessions will be refunded at £7.00 per session.
